Labor Day Weekend in Lake Havasu

Labor Day Weekend camping @ Crazy Horse Camp ground. Nana and Papa, Julie and Donny, Megan and Larry, Rusty and Linda, Jim and Tammy. It was a great HOT weekend with friends and family! We spent alot of time on the boat and in the water. We headed up to Pirates Cove on Saturday morning... Thanks Uncle Donny and Auntie Julie for saving us a spot! We spent most of the day on the beach and floating in the water. The drive up and down to Park Moabi is my favorite thing about the river!!! Sunday we headed to Steam Boat Cove where we spent most of the day tied up to many boats and floating is upside down life jackets... As Makayla called them... BIG diapers! Makayla loves swimming in the deep end of the river =) Hunter had a blast jumping off the rocks with his friends Tommy, LoLo and Jaime. We left steam boat to go tubing with the kids on the BIG BALLS!!! I love that thing!!! Monday we went on the lake for a little bit to get some more time on the BALLS! Its alway hard to leave the lake after a great weekend of fun!!! Happy Labor day everyone =)

Hunter's 1st Day in 2nd Grade... Mark Twain Elementary

I can't believe Hunter is in 2nd Grade... How does the time go by that fast!!! I'm not going to lie... He didn't want to have any part of this new school thing!!! Thanks to an old friend... Jennita, we were able to introduce her son Will and Hunter. Will is going into the 2nd grade as well and lucky us... They ended up in the same class! Mrs. Corona... Even though he had a friend the transition was a tough one!!! He is doing much better now that we are 3 weeks in and he has made many new friends. Good Luck Hunter... I know you will do great at this new school!!!

Hello People... I'm Back!

Well... The Elenbaas family has finally made the move!!! After 2 years of searching for that PERFECT house... We pulled the trigger! It's been about 1 month and finally things are finding a place and it's feeling like home!!! Kids are getting situated with their new rooms and all this space we have!! Mom loves decorating and Dad is very excited to have the motorhome at home and all the space he has outside! We love the quite neighborhood and our nice new neighbors! Looking forward to new memories and fun times!

Hunter lost his 1st & 2nd Tooth

Our little guy has lost his front teeth!

What an exciting day when he knocked his 1st lose tooth that was hanging by a thread out with the Wii controller. Mommy, Mommy it finally came out he screamed! It was the 1st night that Hunter couldn't wait to go to bed. He was so curious as too what the tooth fairy would leave and how she would get into the house and in his room without waking everyone up. I think his biggest concern was how she gets it out from under the pillow and the money back under? He had a couple theory's... "I think the tooth fairy has a special tooth vacuum that sucks the tooth out from under your pillow with a long sucker and when the tooth hits the canister she knows she's got it. She also uses the vacuum to slide the money back under the pillow without waking up the children." He was so serious with his explanation, then he thought about it again and said... "Or she's just magic like Santa." His 2nd tooth came out about a week later in a lean pocket he had for dinner. Luckily the tooth fairy found it before it was washed down the drain and never to be found! Hunters 1st tooth was worth $3.00 and 2nd was $2.00.

It's amazing how their little face changes when they start losing those baby teeth.

Pismo Beach

So the Elenbaas family finally planned a trip and headed to Pismo Beach! I know January is not the best time to head to Pismo, but we really lucked out with wonderful weather! We headed up in the motorhome and stayed at Pismo Coast Village RV resort. Not a bad place to stay unless they are remodeling the park and you are camped right by the pool that is under construction. Waking up to a jack hammer at 7am is not my idea of a vacation!!!

Besides the jack hammer noise and the pool being under construction the beach was beautiful! We brought the quads and jeep so we could do a little riding on the beach with the kids. Hunter had a blast walking along the beach looking for sand dallors and Makayla just loved playing in the sand. It was a great weekend of riding the quads, playing on the beach and yummy food and camp fires at night! Another great weekend spent in the RV

Happy 6th Birthday Hunter

Our little man has turned 6! What a wonderful 6 years it's been! Hunter is such a great little person! He is such a loving little boy with so many great things to add to our family! I think the best thing about our little Hunter is his personality! He is funny, bright, witty and one of the best hugger's around! Happy Birthday Little Man!

We celebrated Hunter's Birthday with a fun family party on Friday Night January 9th! He wanted a Guitar Hero party... I want family to come over and play the Wii and watch me rock out with my guitar. Hunter always has specific things he wants and things he wants to do! Nana came to my rescue with his request for a guitar shaped carrot cake. Mommy, Hunter said... I want it to look just like my guitar. And so Nana created it!!! Thanks Nana... You did a great job!!! We also celebrated Hunter's Birthday with a couple old Pre-school friends and some new Kindergarten friends and don't forget his little neighborhood friends as well. Hunter again new exactly what he wanted to do for his Birthday with his friends!!! Let's go Roller Skating! What a great night we had at Riverside's 2001 Roller City! It was a little difficult at first for some of the little ones to get the hang of being on skates, but about 1 hour into the party they were all making it around the rink! I think alot of the parents had a blast just reliving old Middle School and High School days! Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate Hunter's Birthday!

Hunter Ryan Elenbaas

8lbs, 7 oz, 21 inches long

I remember the moment that Dr. King said... It's a boy! The tears on your Daddy's face and the smile on mine! We were so glad you had arrived! You were 2 1/2 weeks early and I wasn't sure we were ready, But it all worked out just fine! You were so perfect from the start! Your perfect little ears and tiny little toes. It was so much fun just to look at every little piece of you!

We spent many hours together just sleeping! You were a cuddle bugs from the start!

There was no argument as too who you looked like!!!

It's so crazy to see the resemblance to you and your Daddy when he was a baby!

You were the cutest thing we had ever seen!!!

You always keep us on our toes!!
