A weekend away!!!

A little mini Vacation... Time away to relax by the pool, soak up some sun and spend a little quality time with my Man! We had a wonderful mini vacation at the Red Rock Casino, resort and spa in Las Vegas. All I asked for was a little time by the pool to catch up on my tan and enjoy a magazine or two.

What a beautiful resort, it's like its own little city. (spa, movie theatre, bowling alley, casino and many, many restaurants! We had a great time, but 3 days without my little ones.... I was ready for a little Mommy Love!!!!

Thanks Nana & Papa for watching Makayla for the weekend and Auntie Julie & Uncle Donny for watching Hunter. Hunter had a very busy weekend going to the movies to see Kung Fu Panda, hanging out @ Uncle Donny's friend Sean's house swimming in his pool with new friends and going fishing. He loves to spend time with his Auntie Julie!! She really makes him feel special. Thanks Julie for loving my lil man so much!! Thanks Nana & Papa for all the quality time you spend with the kids!!! They love you so much!

So we finally got all the families together, and it wasn't for anyone's birthday!! We had such a great time hanging out at Stacy and James house last Saturday. Thanks guys for being such great hosts!!! We had a nice time watching the kids play in your great backyard full of fun toys. The food was Wonderful and plenty of it!!! It was nice to see everyone together again along with the families!! Sorry Husbands... No photo's of you to post!!! Oh well... The food was good and the beer was cold... They had a good time!!

Many of you know that I... Lisa, Mom, Wife and Payroll Specialist wears many hats around my house!!! This was a morning that one of those hats slipped off... My Mommy hat! This morning I was in the process of feeding Makayla, getting Hunter ready for school, getting myself ready for work and straightening up the house along with trying to answering my phone to take a work call..... As you can see above... I answered the phone... stepped away from Makayla to send a quick email for someone at work and came back to realize that I forgot to take Makayla's oatmeal off her highchair tray. Yes... She was so hungry that she decided to feed herself.! Poor child... she was ready to melt away with no meat on her bones!!! Oh well... add one more thing to the list of clean up... It sure was cute!!! Her face was covered with oatmeal cereal and pears, she was really having a good time... And boy was she proud of herself!!! You better believe that next time that phone rings... I won't forget the cereal!!!
