4th of July

So I have no pictures!!! Just words to tell everyone what a great time we had over the fourth of July weekend! Friday: We started off with some fun in the sun over at the Evan's house playing with Eric, Chris, Emily and Trevor and Family! What a great time swimming the kids had and wonderful food on the BBQ. After all the food was gone and we recovered from over eating we headed over to Chris's parents house (in Riverside off of La Sierra) to hang out on the deck to watch all the fire works in the city of Riverside. What a show!! We saw about 6 different presentations of fireworks. Wow, what a view! Thanks Chris for sharing your family with the Elenbaas "4" for the Holiday. Saturday: Rusty and Linda had a... After the 4th of July party! We again swam, ate and swam some more! Chris, Erik and the kids joined us for the fun in the sun party. What a great time Hunter had playing with Emily and Trevor 2 days in a row!!! But still it wasn't enough! We ended up staying pretty late till the kids couldn't play another minute. They past out watching a movie on the floor. Again... no pictures!! What is wrong with me? Sunday: The family headed down to San Diego to celebrate Auntie Jayde's Birthday. What a great time we had at the race track driving mini karts around a slick track! What a great idea! After racing we went back to Auntie Jayde and Uncle Jason's for some yummy dinner and cake. Unfortunatly we didn't make it for the cake. During dinner I thought it would be a great time to have Makayla try some fish for the 1st time. Well she was enjoying it a little piece went down the wrong way and she started to choke. After turning her upside down to try to get it out we called 911 to get some help. We ended up rushing her to the emergency room to make sure she was okay. After waiting in the waiting room for about 1 1/2 hours we finally got in and the doctor took X-rays to make sure her lungs and throat were clear. What a long night and drive home! She ended up completely okay, just a little shaken up from the trama. What a nightmare!! So after a lot of fun time and a little scary time the weekend was over and back to work we went!
