Pressure to Post...

So... under pressure to post something new!!! Lets wrap up 2 months in ONE post to catch everyone up on the Elenbaas Family! I can't believe August and September have come and gone! I feel like I have blinked my eyes and now it's September 26th! So... everyone has asked... What has the Elenbaas Family been up to? I'm going to try to touch a little on everything we did these last 2 months, so nothing long and drawn out! But keep in mind we're talking about 2 months. So here we go! August: Hunter's first month off track from starting Kindergarten. Gotta love year round school. What a dilemma for working parents! Thank God for Nana and Papa!!!!! We don't know what we would have done with him without your help. Thanks to Auntie Laurie for helping out as well, it's nice that they are on the same track! Thanks Auntie Julie for taking a day off work to take Hunter on a date!!! He loves his dates with his Auntie Julie. Thanks for all your help guys!!!

Hunter got his Kindergarten pictures back before we went off track! I can't believe how grown up he looks!

August 9th we spent the day helping Uncle Ernie and Kim celebrate the up coming arrival of their new baby. Happy Baby Shower... Can't wait to meet your new bundle of joy!

She was born on Sept. 17th at about 8pm. Vanessa Carlene Stumpf... Happy healthy baby girl. We hear that Mom did a great job! Congrats guys on your 1st bundle of joy! Can't wait to meet her! Vegas trip babe....

August 16th - we surprised Nana with a 60th Birthday party! What a day!!! It's not easy to get someone out of their own house for a party that they don't know about. This was something that was in the plans for a couple months. Julie, Jason, Dad and I played phone tag and talking in code. It's not easy planning something for someone that you spend or talk to every day! It wasn't easy to figure out how everything was going to play out... but it all fell into place! Julie and Hunter took her out for the day to build a bear. They had so much fun! They headed home about 3:30 to find a house full of friends and family to help celebrate her BIG day! Poor Hunter... the look on his face when he opened the door!!! Priceless!!! Of course he knew nothing about it as he would have told Nana everything! Like Mother like son... can't keep secrets!!!! We (I) thought we were being so careful to hide all the details. I would talk to Dad between her coming down to my house or after she left my house on her way home. "gotta go she is pulling in the drive-way" was a frequent comment! Plans were in place and she had no clue... 2 days to go and we would have pulled it off! Except... I was up at her house checking my emails and over my shoulder she came, nice and quiet... there it was... The E-vite! What a moron!!!!! I kick myself still for that! I think we played it off well with all kinds of plans that everyone had that day and normal phone calls that take place! I think she knew that the party was coming but she didn't realize it was the next day! Luckily the date wasn't on the E-vite front page! Hope you had a wonderful Birthday Mom!!! We love you more than you know!!!!!!!!!!

August 21st-24th we headed up to the High Sierra's with a couple camping friends for a nice relaxing trip away!!!!! Relaxing... not so much! 1st we ended up sitting on the freeway for 1 hour while they cleared up all 4 lanes from an awful accident! We finally got up there and set up camp we went right to bed as it was about 2am. When we woke up that's when the craziness began!!!! Poor Hunter woke up with 3 bug bites on his face that he had an allergic reaction to. Both his eyes swelled up and the poor little guy could barely see. What a trooper, he was so brave! All he wanted to do was ride Caden's bike and fish with Kenny. Both things that require eye sight! He was determined to have a good time so down the benadryl went and off he was on his new bike and down to the steam with Kenny and Kevin to catch his 1st fish! Besides the HOT weather, bug bites, thinking we lost Hunter in the stream, trip to the Urgent Care, K-mart to stock up on benadryl and ice packs, running the generator to keep the air conditioning on for Makayla's naps... It was a nice weekend! Relaxing.... I wouldn't call it that! We made it home safe and sound and Hunters eyes were back to normal 2 days after we got home!

Fishing with Kenny! Thanks for helping him with his Batman fishing pole. Thanks Kevin for letting Hunter watch while you cut open the poor thing. He even got to touch a beating heart.

August 30th - Happy Surprise Birthday Jamie!!! We had a great time hanging out with friends to help Jamie celebrate his birthday!!! Good job Melissa... I think he was surprised!

August 31st - we had a nice relaxing day over at Rusty & Linda's hanging out at the pool with friends. Thanks for all the great food and fun!!! My pasta salad ROCKED!!! oh ya

Hunter, Trevor, Emily and Rusty played Hide-N-Seek. Emily had the best spot under the motorhome storage compartment. Thanks Rusty for playing with the kids! They love you!

Trevor, Hunte and Emily taking in some SUN! Get a load of the shades. Labor Day we just hung out at home by the pool! Quiet and relaxing!

Moving on to SEPTEMBER!!!!! So I started back teaching Dance! Started on September 3rd and am having alot of fun! It's hard to fit another thing into my schedule, but it's something that puts a smile on my face! If you know me well then you know that Dance is something that has always been a BIG part of my life! I'm happy to be back on the dance floor! I love to teach children something that I enjoy so well! So count Wednesday nights out for Lisa, She's at Dancers Studio... Thanks to Tim for taking the lead with the kids and making sure they don't miss a beat when Mom's out dancing! It's so nice to come home to kids feed, bathed, and ready for hugs and kisses and nightie night! Thanks babe for understanding how much dancing means to me.

September 13th - Go Esperanza... 20 year High School Reunion. It was a nice night out! We had a OKAY hotel room at the Anaheim Marriott, Tim got to see alot of old friends that he hadn't seen since the 10 yr reunion. Auntie Laurie stayed home with the kids and they had such a great time! It's so nice to have family that enjoy watching your kids! They love spending time with you Auntie Laurie!!!!! It was alot of fun to meet some of Tim's friends from High School and hang out and listen to good old stories of High School days and what Tim was like back in the day! It made me miss my high school friends and I can't wait for our 20 year!!!

All Tim's Neighborhood friends. They all have been friends since third grade.

September 15th - The house hunt is on and has been for a couple months.... We have been wanting to move for awhile now! It would be nice to have a little more property for all the "toys" and a couple more sq feet in the house! Doing my drive by's in the neighborhood that I like I spotted our dream house.... Or what we thought was our dream house! We fell in love with a house about 5 minute from Nana and Papa on 2 acres and about 1,000 sq feet bigger than ours... We put in an offer along with 4 others, now we just wait!!! Unfortunately it's a Short Sale! So the bank countered all 5 offers and we ended up backing out! It was a little more than we wanted to take on at this time... So we are back out searching for our "PLACE" Keep your fingers crossed that if it's meant to be, it will be! Thanks to my friend Lisa Erdelji for helping us with everything!

So our house will be up for rent as soon as we find our new house... If you know anyone that would like to rent a Corona pool home let us know!

So the month is coming to a close and I am up to date on all our weekend's, vacations, Birthday's and crazyiness... I will try to stay up on my posting for the next couple months as it's alot of reading to chunk 2 months together! Sorry for the delays on the Elenbaas life!
