We started our Easter weekend a little early... We headed up to Solvang for a little family time in the RV's... We camped at Lake Cachuma about 15 minutes outside the city of Solvang. It was a beautiful weekend for camping!!! We arrived about 10pm on Thursday night to set up camp. Nana, Papa, Julie, Donny, Megan, Jason, Jayde, Baby Kaleb and Us. We had a beautiful Friday hanging out around the Motor homes relaxing in the sun and walking around the camp ground by the lake. Hunter had so much fun riding his bike with Auntie Julie, Uncle Jason and Papa. Watch out the training wheels have come off... There's no stopping him now!!! We headed into town around 3pm to grab a late lunch and walk around the beautiful village shops. Unfortunately the town closes down very early on Friday night. We did find a little resturant that was still serving and they did have... AEBLESKIVERS... AKA Pancake puffs!!
These are a tradition that my Grandma would make for us as kids growing up every Christmas morning!! A litte jam and you're good to go!!! They are the best!!! Yummy..... Julie has taken over that tradition and does a fantastic job!!! I think Julies better!!! From there we headed back to camp to celebrate Jason's 31st B-day and my 34th... Wow, that can't be right??? Anyway... We had a yummy dinner (Thank you Nana and Julie) Fish and Snakes... yummy carrots and rice. It was a nice way to celebrate together!!
Saturday Morning we celebrated Easter...
and a fun Easter Egg hunt for Hunter... The only kid hunting this year!! Go Hunter... We had such a wonderful time at Donna and Dennis's house hanging out, catching up and playing games!! Happy Easter Everyone!! Hope you had a wonderful celebration like we did!!!
We headed home on Saturday Night to rest up and be ready to continue the Easter Celebration with Tim's side of the family on Sunday.
Sunday: We had a nice relaxing morning at home with the kids and there Easter Bunny Easter baskets. What fun that was for Hunter!!! We got all dressed up to join Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Laurie at Church. What a nice service at Friends Church in Yorba Linda. We then went over to Grma and Grpa's house for a yummy brunch and some more Easter treats for the kids!! What a nice Easter Sunday!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a nice Easter day!!!!

Cute pictures. I love the silly faces. But your birthday isn't until April, right?
Hey Auntie Lisa, I'm glad you were able to use all the pictures for your slideshow, I always have fun taking them!! How'd you get all into one slideshow though? When I made mine, it said I was only able to put 50?
Great post, you really went into detail lol. We had a great time spending the weekend with everyone as well. We should do that more often!
love Auntie Jayde
My grandma used to make them too. Yummy!
It was a really fun weekend, so nice to have all the babies in one place. I love it when we are all together. Thank you for my Easter towel, I love it! Love you too! Nana
